LeoZeit: Shadows

In the Pomeranzengarten of Leonberg a secret is growing — bitter and untouched. Nobody has ever learned of it. Until Alicia comes.

She has been here for a week, and already she sees the impossible: in the middle of summer, frost spreads across the rim of the well. The stone on her puppy’s collar turns warm — from a cold that does not come from this world.

Because next to this Leonberg lies a second one: the same streets, the same castle — only caught in an everlasting winter. And that winter is spreading. The border between them is blurring.

Alicia is the only one who can see him: a boy from the year 1614, lost between the worlds. To bring him home, she has to undo an old mistake.

But something is waiting in the ice — and it found her long ago.

Seven blossoms. Two worlds. One rift between them.

The Leonberger puppy Leo accompanies Alicia through the story — the same dog that was once bred to resemble the lion in the town’s coat of arms. As a family we had Leo painted: «Wächter Leo» by Vitalii Kostiuk. We handed the painting to Lord Mayor Tobias Degode at the town hall — a small piece of the world of LeoZeit, back in the real lion town.
